This step-by-step instructional guide will show you How To Install & Use Syncler on Firestick, Fire TV, and Android TV/Google TV Box. Syncler is a popular Streaming App that serves up Movies and TV Shows on any device. At first glance it appears to be a fork of the once-popular TVZion APK, however, it works…
TVZION was one of my favorites…after receiving this notice on Troypoint, I was eager to load and try it…I followed all the instructions but have never been able to get movies to play…I tried several and always got a msg “no links found”…I looked for YouTube videos for the set up but didn’t find any…I set it up similar to how I set up tvzion…I think there are some bugs in it or the instructions need to be clarified
I need instructions to instal and get this working also.
There was not a Helios choice to select as mentioned inTroy’s instructional post.
I have syncler, but I don’t know if I even used it two times in the several years that I’ve had it. It just seems they never have any decent links available for any movies I’ve done a search on it. An update is long overdue and about time, and they’ve needed some decent search engines because the ones I have been experiencing have been pretty poor.
Hello, you may want to revisit the tutorial as more than likely you are missing a step somewhere. Syncler provides the most high quality links for me as compared to other apps. You need Syncler Premium, Real Debrid, and install the scraper package for this to work well.

Why screw around with an add supported app when you can use Stremio?

I just added to a new Onn box, followed the above instructions just to be sure and everything works great.
My experience with syncler was the same as radiospotz3…I have debrid and also the upgrade package…it just never seem to ever come up with any requests…certainly no better than the other apks or kodi
Hello @gabengineers As I said with others I strongly suggest going through tutorial again. More than likely you are missing a step somewhere if you aren’t getting any links. You can also find my new video for the Beta which walks you through every single step.
I’ve been sort of out of pocket the past 6 months due to health and family issues. We use Synkler quite often and depend on it. But lately it’s let us down. This week I saw Troy’s Best of and he recommends Premiumize due to issues with Real-Debrid. Can anyone expand on the Real-Debrid issues as I’m curious if this is what’s causing our issues with Synkler. I re-subscribed to Real-Debrid last month. Is it worth dumping Real-Debrid and going with Premiumize? Or, can I use both?
I use a Nvidia Shield Pro.
Thank you!
@BeagleLover
You can use both. You say you have issues with RD. So. Can you elaborate?
When RD purged their system, it obviously provided less cached links.
I have both RD and PM and they both work fine.
You may already have done so, but if not, make sure you have the latest versions of Syncler:
Stable 1.3.9.2
Beta: 0.45
You can update these through installer.
Dak, thank you for your reply. As for elaboration, I’ll search for a movie and when it finds the one I want, I play it and every line comes up FAILED. This happens maybe 3 out of 5 times.
Speaking of the latest revision of Syncler, I’m using the Stable version. Do you see any reason for moving to the new 2.0 Beta version?
Your thoughts?
Hi
The failed to play is something that happens on certain links for movies/shows occasionally.
That is probably because:
- New movie/ show
- The movie/ show has no cached links.
- It also depends upon the packages you have installed. And of course, it is is recommended to install only 1 x Express and 1 x Kosmos package.
- It could also be the size of file you are attempting to stream, and whether your device is capable of streaming it, particulary a large file and the codec involved. If that’s the case, try streaming a lower sized file.
If you are happy with those pkgs, may i suggest that the periodic update of packages, is something you should do.
The more people that add a magnet for that broken link to RD, the more links that will appear for everyone.
As far as Stable goes vs beta, i would hold off from beta, until the dev gets all the bugs ironed out.
He has worked tirelessly over the past few months, and I’m sure is having a well deserved break
Since the RD incident, he has fixed it on both versions as best he can. Just check that you are using version 1.3.9.2
To try and prevent dead links appearing, do the following:
Settings>accounts >RD> scroll down and disable " enable hosters ".
Eventually any dead links will at some stage be resolved by RD.
Thank you, Dak! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to reply! Have a great week.

Has anyone had the “no results” issue with recent versions? Let me elaborate.
On some occasions, when finishing watching an episode - syncler auto loads/lists sources for the next episode. Instead, I’ve been getting “No Results”.
If I exit syncler and fire it up again, go to the same program - it scrapes and lists sources fine. I may (or may not) get the same issue at the next episode.
Exit and restart fixes the problem - but repeats of the problem happens randomly.
I’ve cleared cache. I refreshed providers. I’ve rebooted device. It’s not happening on just one device. It does it on my primary and secondary devices.
Only changes were upgrading to versions 1.3.8.2 and 1.3.9.2.
Maybe a bug attached to recent updates?
