Since there is no going back once you download it, I’ll wait until we get more feedback here on this update to make sure there aren’t any bugs in it before installing it. Right now I have no problems so if it ain’t broke, why fix it?

I checked yesterday and it still wasn’t available for me.

Still not available for me either. I think it auto downloads. Not sure you can turn it off, never checked.
Not available for me either, but I am trying to see if there is a way to keep the system from automatically starting the update.

I haven’t found one. But I am testing a setting change that may reduce or eliminate some buffering as well as Stuttering. I personally don’t get buffering and the only stutter I get is the odd sound stutter in Stremio. I have done som research and those with similar issues found turning off the power optimization for Tivimate and Stremio helps fix this. Also if you want to stop background apps dbl click the home button.

I started to experience some minor audio stuttering in Stremio too while watching a show last night. The audio briefly cut out for 1-2 seconds. It just started recently and at first I thought it was due to the latest update, but I haven’t received that yet either. Thanks for the work you’re doing to figure out the fix for that. Maybe it was just the streams because I switched to a different show later and it didn’t do it anymore.

If you rewind and it stutters in the exact same place every time then it’s the file, if not then it’s a hardware or software issue.

It has happened to me every time I start Stremio at night. Been in touch with the Dev but have not heard back yet. Been at this for a week and still no commonality that I can clearly define. After some settings changes and continued testing it did not happen last night. I plugged my P6L directly into the TV as Buzz suggested but now I am going to plug my HDMI cable from the soundbar back into the P6L and see what happens. So many things to test these days.

The next time it happens I’ll rewind and check that for sure.

It’s not the file, I’m getting it too on everything that I play in Stremio. I notice this after about 15-30 minutes of playing a movie.

Yes that is the issue. It occurs after that length of time. Can you do me a favour @DOGE please. Go into settings>Apps> Special app access>Energy optimization>Stremio and turn the optimization off so you get the “Not optimized” setting and then run Stremio and see if this helps or hopefully fixes it. Thanks. While you’re at it, do the same for aTivimate if you use it and see if you get less buffering. Tx.

I posted in the STB forum about me and some other here not seeing the latest update being available. The mod/dev was able to get back to me saying the issue was on their end and to try again.
"It was a mistake on our side
The Latest OTA should be available for all P6L within 20-30 minutes
Sorry about that"
I won’t be able to try again until tonight so if someone else wants to give it a try let us know how it goes.

Wooo hooo. The update just ran and finished and rebooted my P6L. No issues at all. Now to run it through it’s paces and see what happens. Update took about 5 minutes and I really didn’t have much choice. It popped up in the middle of a program and I just clicked to allow. Very simple but a lot of changes. Looked like about 4 complete module or app updates.
It looks like most updates come with a post like this…
“FIRMWARE WILL DOWNLOAD IN AND INSTALL IN MULTIPLE PARTS
YOU CANNOT REVERT BACK”

Yes sir. Mine came with a number of messages, mostly detailing what the update does and yes the one saying it could not be reversed.
Something definately new is the TeamViewer Quick Support. You are given an ID number and can join a support session. I assume, from what I saw, that this will give the ppl you are getting help from, the ability to manipulate your device remotely. So you have to be sure to trust them.

I got my Buzz 6 PowerStation UnLimited today and hooked it up where my XRS4900 has served me for so many years.
I’ve only had maybe 1/2hr playtime on it so far but it definately seems impressive. One thing I couldn’t figure out is how to power this thing off. Long press in the remote’s power button only gives me a restart option.
Any hints?

Yup. Open the BuzzTV Smart Remote app and set up your power options there. It’s the built in app to configure the remote.

The update was waiting for me when I got home and everything seemed to go smoothly. Time to put it through its paces.
