Out of curiosity, has anyone tried to plug a soundbar into the HDMI-in port of the 3rd gen Cube?
Amazon makes a great device for all the things Amazon allows you to download. If Amazon decides to block the things you love, you can take solace in knowing your device is great…and in a drawer.

As disgusted as I am with Amazon, that would be a cool selling point. Doubt it works to passthrough digital sound, since that would be too nice and convenient. If Amazon heard you were happy with something on their box, they would just hire someone to destroy it so there is no happiness.

I have fire TV cube 3rd gen Just wondering if anybody knows about problem I’m having. Whenever I pick a show on the fire TV main screen it transfers over to the prime video app then after backing out of that show it keeps me in the prime video app. I don’t have an option to delete the prime video app and this has been happening for about a month because I don’t like prime video app. I have cleared the cache deleted the data on that app. Sometimes I pick a show it can take up to 30 seconds for a to load on prime video app. Just thought I might mention this haven’t seen anything on it but maybe because Amazon is loading so much bloatware on their fire TV they’re having to transfer to prime Video app on their cube. Any suggestions would be helpful. Unable to rid of prime video app or even keep it stop so it won’t go to that app when picking show on fire TV thanks. Update April 28th 2025 nobody responded to me but my question was moved to some old folder from Miki thanks. I fixed myself with total commander I was able to remove the prime video app once found long pressed enter and deleted the app. Now fire TV does not direct me to the prime Video app. As per Troy point emails we have a lot of cord cutters on here that do need help and when they can’t find it for me I found nowhere to post the question so I put it along in the folder about Amazon’s new operating system coming in future. That question could have been helped with instead of just moved I don’t think it harmed anything by being there. But next time I will find a way to post the question. So anybody having this problem probably won’t find it in this section it was moved to thanks Hope I’ve helped
