Last year, I used takepremium.com to renew Syncler. I have tried to do the same once again. I do not use crypto. I have tried to use a credit card or PayPal to pay, but I can not get that to work. I do not remember roadblocks from a year ago.
Do you have an easy, painless process to recommend?

Hi I am a newbie here on the side hope I’m doing this right. I have been using Syncler for over 4 years injoy it my question is on this new V2 update I have watched the video but I want to know if I can just update it or do I have to uninstall syncler? Have it on four devices as well I’m using premiumized & Trakt. I apologize I’m not posting this in the right form here I just signed up hope to get some inside on seeing if I can update syncler without uninstalling it. I did watch the video on a TroyPoint site. I Have it on fire stick Max Android box as well Galaxy cell.

Just check for update. And update, no need to uninstall.
You will see " awesome you’re using the latest version".
But check the changelog > it shows 2.0.1
Then click “update anyway”.
As Dak7385 posted if you are already on V2 then you can update and all settings/debride accounts etc. will be unaffected. If you are still on V1 then you will have to setup from scratch, then you will be able to update normally.

Agreed, but a slight correction to your post.
Your debrid- trakt and home catalogue will not be affected.
But you will need to restore your personal in app settings, from a previously made backup on existing V2.
Late Edit: I forgot to include:
Vendors and packages are also carried over to the update.
But always best to check " installed packages " to verify.

Had to uninstall my version was 1.3.5.1 okay got it installed as well with premiumized I’m wondering if there’s things that need to be changed in settings? It will pull up the links but I get this message
everything was running sweet with old version .feel like I’m starting ALl over with this 2.0.1.5 ver. Can’t find a updated video on this as far as settings? when I set this new version up followed it to the letter as of watching the video hopefully a video will come out. I’m doggy paddling right now I do appreciate your replies been working on it for 4 hours and my mind needs to take a break anxiety City

There could be numerous reasons for that error.
- Check for network issues: Make sure that there are no network issues that could be causing the
SSLHandshakeException error. This can include firewall or proxy issues, or problems with the network connection itself.
If you are using a VPN> turn it off.
Or…your router is blocking it with security settings. Maybe turn the router off for 20/30 seconds and reboot it.
It has been reported that this issue didn’t happen on V1.
Suggestions from mods:
- Your ISP is possibly blocking your connection.
- Change the DNS on your device or router
- Contac your ISP and get the block lifted.
If you have set up PM and Trakt, and use the app " out of the box" it should work. And of course added a vendor and installed a package.
Then as you get used to it, you can make settings changes to suit your needs.

thanks for your reply I’ve checked everything you’ve mentioned no luck. This setup is on Android my Galaxy Tab, I have a firestick Max running old syncler version and it runs fine.the TroyPoint video I used this package as he suggestion jakedup.com/syncler/vendor for the package. just wondering if others have had good success with this package ? Versus the old way of adding packages. In a nutshell wanted to try the new syncler version on my Galaxy Tab before uninstall the old version that’s working on my fire sticks and mecool Android box Thanks again my friends.

Ok. Try settings> vendors and packages > installed pkgs> click on jaked up and update.
Back to home page > refresh from top right icon and try a show source.
If you wish, you could install magnify.
Add this vendor:
https://magnify.pages.dev/vendor.
It probably will not execute and add the package, but will add the vendor.
But check first in Installed pkgs" just in case. If not…
Then go to " available pkgs" click on magnify if its there and install.
If not> go to added vendors > and install from there.
If that works, you should really only install one package. Therefore, remove jaked up.
It will still be available in " available pkgs", should you need to change at any time.
Thanks dak long story short it was my Galaxy Tab S2 it’s pretty old running on Android 7. I installed new syncler ver on my mecool box and working as well my 4K fire stick Max working few more devices to go At least I have an answer as I wondered if it was my Galaxy Tabs2 since it’s been around a long time thanks again for spending the time to get back to me have a great one

The Trakt Featured list on Syncler stopped working yesterday.
I tried everything listed and finally reinstalled the Syncler app and it still does not work.
This is installed on a Firestick 4K max and they did have a update yesterday
Anybody have any idea what the issue might be

I know the free month on Syncler V2 ran you yesterday so check to see if your Syncler + is still active if you didn’t purchase additional time?
It has been logged as a bug on Discord by a mod. Just to confirm,there was no update yesterday. We are still on version 2.0.1.5

Hello. Since yesterday, the Trakt Featured Lists are not showing up anymore on Syncler (original version). Only the Up Next row is available for selection. It is like they would have been erased or as if I would have lost access to them. The lists within the Trakt Movie and Trakt TV menu sections are still displayed and functional. Can anyone help?

That issue has been logged as a bug by a mod on Discord 3 days ago. Dev is working on a fix.
